Lijnzaad
Linseed consists of approximately 40-45% oil, with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids as the main components. Both fatty acids play an essential role in a dog's body. In addition, linseed contains a significant dose of protein, about 20-25%, and fiber, about 27-28%, as well as a wide range of various vitamins and minerals.
Full of:
Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B5, C, E, folic acid, beta-carotene, choline
Minerals: calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, zinc, manganese, copper, potassium
Bietenvezels
Beet pulp is a by-product of sugar beet processing and consists almost entirely of dietary fibre. These fibres are divided into soluble and insoluble fibres, both of which play a role in a dog's digestion. In addition, the ingredient contains a limited amount of protein, about 8-12%, and a low sugar content.
Good for:
Bowel function, as fibre supports digestion and contributes to regular bowel movements.
Gist
Yeast consists of approximately 50-60% protein, making it a valuable protein source. In addition, yeast contains all essential amino acids, the building blocks of proteins that the body needs. Yeast is naturally rich in B vitamins, supplemented with various minerals.
Full of:
Vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, folic acid
Minerals: calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, sodium, copper, manganese, selenium

From Kibble to Toys
The Story Behind VerdaDog
As a child, I grew up with Luuk, a very sweet Labrador. At one point, he started experiencing more and more physical issues: itching, red skin, dandruff, and obesity. Even then, I wished there was a different way.
Years later, I adopted a dog myself: Sep, my Golden Retriever. From that moment on, it became my mission to help him live as long and healthy a life as possible, and to prevent as many of the ailments I saw develop in Luuk.
I myself have been eating a plant-based diet for over 10 years and experience the benefits daily. I wanted Sep to have that same experience. That's how VerdaDog was born: from the simple desire to do the best for my own dog.
