Yes, our kibble is developed according to FEDIAF guidelines, making it a complete food. FEDIAF (the European pet food industry federation) determines which nutrients dogs need and in what quantities. If a food meets these guidelines, it contains all the nutrients your dog needs, without the need for additional food.
It is important to transition your dog to new food gradually over 14 days so that their digestive system can adjust to the new food. This applies to every food transition, regardless of the type or brand, and helps prevent temporary digestive issues such as diarrhoea and an upset stomach or belly as much as possible.
Gradually mix VerdaDog food with the old food every two days, according to the schedule below. If you notice your dog is struggling with the transition, for example, an upset stomach, feel free to take a little more time for each step. Every dog is unique, and some may need more time than others.
The Wagging Tail Subscription is our flexible subscription service that automatically delivers new food to your home on time. This means you no longer have to think about it yourself and you avoid those "oops, we're out of kibble" moments.
